What to Expect Before, During, and After Your Telehealth Visit
We offer telehealth visits at Wellness at Century City, providing the same integrative care in a convenient, virtual format. Here’s what you can expect before, during, and after your telehealth consultation with Dr. Cho.
Before Your Telehealth Visit:
- Where can I find the new patient forms?: Please complete all necessary forms sent from noreply@tebra.com within three days of scheduling your telehealth appointment.
- How do I join my telehealth appointment?: You will receive an email with the telehealth link prior to your appointment, but you can also access it directly here: telehealth.kareo.com/jessica-cho.
- Is there a cancellation policy?: Please note, a $275 cancellation fee applies if your appointment is canceled within two days of your scheduled visit.
- Do I need to provide my ID and Insurance Card?: Email your ID and insurance card to info@jessicachomd.com before your visit.
- How can I submit medical records?: If there are any medical records or labs you’d like Dr. Cho to review, please email them to info@jessicachomd.com ahead of time.
During Your Telehealth Visit:
What can I expect during my visit?: Your telehealth visit with Dr. Cho will be a comprehensive discussion about your health, conducted from a holistic, integrative perspective. Dr. Cho will delve into various aspects of your wellbeing, including:
- Your symptoms and health concerns
- Stress and emotional factors
- Sleep patterns
- Inflammation and chronic conditions
- Gut health and diet
Dr. Cho will work to uncover how these elements interconnect and impact your overall health. Together, you’ll develop a plan tailored to your unique needs. If lab work is needed, Dr. Cho will guide you on how to arrange testing in your area.
Are labs and other testing covered by insurance?
- Lab tests are out-of-pocket.
- Standard blood tests may be submitted to insurance for potential reimbursement.
- Specialty testing may also be recommended, depending on your health needs.
After Your Telehealth Visit:
How will my visit be billed? Following your visit, Dr. Cho will spend additional time:
- Reviewing any medical records or test results
- Creating a summary of your telehealth visit
- Developing a customized action plan for your continued care
As with in-office visits, the fee is based on the total time spent, including the consultation and post-visit work.
Can I submit this visit for insurance reimbursement?: We are an out-of-network practice, but we offer:
- A complimentary superbill (PDF) for self-submission to your insurance.
- Alternatively, our office can submit the claim for you for a $18.00 service fee.
Concierge Program for Out-of-State and International Patients:
For patients outside of California or internationally, we offer a special Out-Of-State and International Concierge Program. While the physical exam is not included, you will still receive all the benefits of personalized integrative care, including:
- 24/7 direct access to Dr. Cho
- Priority scheduling
